Book Sale Fundraising Store and Events
OUUC has a long tradition of holding community used book sales to benefit local organizations doing work that aligns with our mission and faith-in-action priorities of economic justice, anti-racism, and environmental care.
In addition to our Book Nook online used book store, OUUC hosts a HUGE Books Brownies & Beans in-person book sale fundraising event on the fourth Friday & Saturday of October at 2306 East End St NW, Olympia, WA.
The next Book Brownies & Bean event will happen Friday & Saturday, October 23-24, 2026 IF someone steps up to chair or co-chair the event.
Our Non-Profit Beneficiaries
All proceeds from OUUC’s Book Nook online store are lovingly passed on to the Thurston County Food Bank.
Beneficiaries for the annual BB&B in-person book sale event are determined by OUUC's Faith in Action team.
