From MIXED Amazon/GoodReads reviews: "first... dear practitioners of magic, ... we should state our bias. We appear in this book from page 100 to 107 and for that alone we are inclined to like it. However, we think that this is actually a great book for those seeking inspiration about how to put together their own sacred/magical space. Part of what makes this book so good is that it is filled with photos of various altars, magic circles, etc. thus giving visual affirmation of the magic that is being described. If you are looking for hints about how to create your magic space, this book is a good one to consult."; "I was very disappointed. It is absolutely not what I was expecting. The authors made money on other people sending them descriptions of their personal ritual/mediation/spellwork space. It is horribly outdated. Pictures are all very old and useless. Don't waste your time. I wish I hadn't."; "Lots of good information and historical data that should not be forgotten."; "Any book written by the Campanellis is to be recommended. They speak of living the old ways from the heart, easy to understand and incorporate into your beliefs and into your day to day life."; "A Great read.

Not so much of an Instructional 'how to', but instead a gem for ideas. So very interesting and exciting to have a small look into the sacred spaces of other pagan folk. Indoors and out..from the elaborate, permanent set-up to the simple and temporary, this book will help any person get in the mind set to build their sacred space. Beautiful pictures full of mystery and magick. As a avid circle and grove builder I got a lot out of this book, I hope you do too!"
