From recent Amazon/GoodReads reviews: "Kaz always had me clueless on what was going to happen next. Right when you thought you figured it out, there was always something you didn't know."; "The crew was such a good cast of characters, each of them being so so lovable in their own unique ways, and I did not enjoy one of their perspectives over the other, which is rare for me! Kaz is obviously the star here. Conniving and scheming, but having that sliver of humanity always lingering. You never know what kind of plan he was hiding, and it was so fun to try and figure out what he was doing, only to fail in the end."; "An absolute masterpiece of fantasy and easily one of the best heist stories I've ever read. From the gritty, atmospheric streets of Ketterdam to the heavily fortified walls of the Ice Court, this book grabbed me from the very first page and simply refused to let go. The true brilliance of this novel lies in its characters."
